​​PRODUCTION & REHEARSAL INFORMATION

 

​Rehearsals

- Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8pm - 10pm and Sundays from 5pm - 8pm

- Start Date: Rehearsals will start the last week of August.

- Location: Skyrise Theater Studio B, 76 Otis Street, Westborough, MA

You will only be called to rehearsals if needed.

Tech Week 

- Dates: Sunday, November 2nd - Wednesday November 5th

- Location: Trottier Middle School Auditorium, 49 Parkerville Rd, Southborough, MA

Production Dates

- Preview Performance: Thursday, November 6th

- Performance Dates: Friday, November 7th (evening), Saturday, November 8th (evening) and Sunday, November 9th (matinee)

AUDITION INFORMATION

Time & Location

- Audition Dates: Monday, June 23th, 6pm - 9:30pm and Tuesday, June 24th, 6pm - 9:30pm

- Callbacks: Thursday, June 26th, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

We will notify you if you received a call back by Wednesday.

- Location: Pilgrim Congregational Church, 15 Common St, Southborough, MA

Please note this is the location for both the auditions AND the callbacks.​

- Video Submissions: While we prefer you come to the live auditions, we will also be accepting video submissons. Please email your audition to curtainuptheater@gmail.com no later than Tuesday, June 24th.

Audition Preparation

- Song: Please prepare a 32-bar excerpt of a musical theater in the style of the show.

***We will not have a live accompanist at auditions, so please bring your own music track to hook up to our sound system via Bluetooth/USB.***

- Optional Dance Audition: If you would like to be considered for a dancing role, please sign up for one of the dance audition time slots in addition to your other audition sign up.

  -- The optional dance audition time slots are 7pm - 7:30 pm or 8:30pm - 9pm on both days.

  -- Please wear clothes in which you can move comfortably. Make sure you can dance in your shoes. Jazz shoes, character shoes, or ballet slippers are good choices.
